My friend and I went to a junkyard today to look for a muffler for his Mk4 GTI VR6. No luck there, but here’s some semi-interesting stuff that we found.
Rekt.
Lil accord
COROLLA GT-S!!!!! With 4A removed, unfortunately.
Somehow the 2JZ is still in this thing.
TURBO!
Nissan 200SX
And the 2JZ is still in this one.
SD7?
I don’t know what it is with green Tercel coupes.
Celica!
This plane was grounded
GMT400 2500

Hey, you mind putting the 2J in the SC300

The SC is still a 2JZ, unless it was swapped. We never got the 1JZ.

I can’t believe the 2JZs are left as well. Usually these and any other popular engine are pulled before they put them out there. I wonder how much they are selling them for?

It’s a civic actually. So even lighter!

W124 hurts the most. Accord is a Civic, I think 82-83. Surprised the Audi made it this long, although it looks to have been sitting around awhile.

Interestingly, my old 81 Civic sedan had hood vents. I wonder why?

Step 1. Pull both 2jz engines
Step 2. Swap them into something or give to me.
Step 3. ???
Step 4. Profit

First car I ever drove was an 81 civic sedan. I don’t remember the hood vents, but at that time, everything Honda was doing had some purpose, so it probably wasn’t decorative, I guess?

Who knows. Mine weren’t over anything in particular, just off on the sides of the engine. The googles shows me that both vented and non-vented seem to be equally common on the 2nd gen sedans. It’s a mystery! CVCC vs non-CVCC maybe?
